Workshop: Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) or Tapping by Nasrin Falsafi, PhD, RN

This presentation discusses tapping, what it is, and how it works. This technique combines tapping various meridian points on the body with repeating positive statements. It helps with releasing various types of negative emotions such stress, guilt, not being good-enough, negative energy, etc. This is an interactive presentation, and participants will have an opportunity to practice tapping.
Nasrin Falsafi is a psychiatric clinical nurse specialist, and an advanced certified holistic nurse. She worked in major medical and educational institutions including the Johns Hopkins Hospital, Washington Hospital Center, Children’s National Medical Center, Maryland University, and the University of NC Wilmington. She has a psychotherapy private practice in Southport, NC. She also offers holistic modalities including mindfulness practices, Reiki, hypnotherapy, EMDR, restorative yoga, past-life regression, and emotional freedom technique (tapping). She has spoken at national and international conferences and has published articles on the use of holistic modalities in professional journals.
